The Maryland Food Bank’s mission of leading the movement to end hunger in Maryland requires an expansive donor and support network. A donor profile piece in a quarterly newsletter goes a long way to thank a loyal major donor for repeat contributions that add up to make a significant impact. I showcased a long-standing food bank partner for the eyes of thousands of readers, applauding the donor and inspiring others to follow their lead.

Community Assistance Network (CAN) needed to reengage with lapsed donors and connect new donors to inspiring stories of impact. In partnership with a creative director and graphic designer, we created a quarterly newsletter that showcases CAN’s rebrand and gives space for long-form storytelling that captures the moving work of this Baltimore-based nonprofit.
